Life Update + A Very Exciting Thing

Hey everyone! Good morning and welcome to another blog post about my life. Today we are going to get a little more personal than usual. It has been quite awhile since my last blog post and I decided to share why it has been so long. I also have a very exciting thing to discuss so keep reading to find out about it. As usual let’s get started โฌ‡

Over the past 4 weeks, my weeks just keep getting busier and busier as I head into summer vacation. I have just been planning and planning for various and sundry things and trying to get ready for my next adventure. I will admit although I love to plan, it has been a bit stressful for me. I will still try my best to create content for you all. I can’t promise to stick to my regular schedule so I might skip a week if I’m too busy.

Although this may be a little disappointing, I should be back to a more regular schedule during the summer time as I have plenty of time to create content on the blog. Who knows I might even start a series of some sort. Whatever happens to this blog in the future, I want you all to know how grateful I am to be able to create content for this blog. I appreciate all the kind comments you all have given me and I look forward to this blog’s future ๐Ÿ™‚

Now I will share the “Very Exciting Thing.” If you couldn’t tell, I have revamped my blog into a more “boho” theme. I am really into the boho\minimalist feel so I was very happy with the results. I love the terracotta color so it fit into my theme perfectly. I am still in the process of creating a new logo so be sure to look out for that. I may or may not do a post on that showcasing it.

I hope you all enjoyed reading my posts again ๐Ÿ™‚ I definitely missed blogging on here. Hope you have a great week and see you next time!

Spring Break at Pigeon Forge + Gatlinburg

Hello everyone! Welcome back to the blog. I hope everyone’s day is going well. You may have noticed I haven’t posted in quite awhile but don’t worry I’m doing well. I am just figuring out my place in the blogging world. If you have any suggestions or blogging tips that would be fantastic, you can just drop them in the comments. Anyway let’s get started

Last week I was able to travel to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg Tennessee for spring break. I had so much fun and I’m so excited to share with you what we did there.

On Sunday we left before noon to start driving on the long journey to Tennessee. I took a lot of naps and watched quite a few movies on the way there. Finally after an eternity ๐Ÿ˜‰ we made it to Tennessee just in time for supper. We ate some delicious thai food and went to try the alpine coasters. Then we went swimming before the pool closed.

I woke up super early around 7:00 a.m. to get to the ropes course before there were super long lines. For me I didn’t enjoy it as much as I could have just because everything was so shaky and there wasn’t a net to catch you if you fell. Quite awhile after I was begging to go mini golfing so we stopped at Professor Hacker’s golf course. I probably laughed more than I golfed but it was such a fun time and to end the night off we got indian food. I always like to get the Masala dosa with a side of rice.

I slept in pretty late because I didn’t sleep much the night before but we were still able to go to the Smoky Mountain National Park despite the rain. I enjoyed seeing all the waterfalls and being in the nature. For dinner we had Italian food which is my favorite. I could eat it everyday if I wanted to. For this particular night, we stopped at Squisito which was quite an interesting place. They made it right in front of you which was something different we don’t have back at home. For dessert we got Gina’s cupcakes which were very good. I would definitely recommend wedding cake if you have a Gina’s cupcake place near you. That was pretty much all we did due to the rain.

We started the day off by going to a place called Anakeesta. To get there you basically take a ski lift up the mountain to get to the park. I had a lot of fun seeing all the different things they had there. We were planning on it taking the whole day but we ended up only being there for about an hour and a half so we went mini golfing again at Fantasy Golf. I would definitely recommend this golf course if you’re in the area. Then we bought tickets and went go-karting. I don’t really remember where it was but it was right next to the golf course.

We started the long tiresome journey back home. The first thing I did when I got home was take a shower because I smelled like the cabin and that was a very weird smell and then I unpacked and chilled and that was basically the end of my spring break trip to Tennessee.

Well that was my spring break trip to Tennessee. I am so grateful I was able to go there for my spring break. I had a ton of fun and I miss it already haha. I hope you enjoyed reading this summary of my spring break.

My Experience in Las Vegas: Part 2

Hello! Welcome back to the blog. I hope you all are doing well and ready for another post on my experience in Las Vegas. Before we start, if you haven’t read part 1 click here. Anyway without further adieu let’s get started.

March 17…Day 2 (technically day 3)

On March 17, we did a lot more sightseeing in detail. We went slower and took the time to get out of the car to take the photos. We also shopped for souvenirs (which are not pictured below)

Some photos at the Las Vegas Strip

After “sightseeing” we got to do something super cool. We were able to visit the shop from the show “Pawn Stars”. That was super cool seeing it on tv and now in real life. It was quite smaller than shown on tv which was quite surprising to me. Before you ask, no we did not get to see the actual stars of the show. That would be super cool though.

After looking around for this shop, we made our way to Red Rock Canyon and it was so beautiful. It was quite windy but it was worth the drive and if you were wondering, I did get to take a quick nap ๐Ÿ™‚

After we were finished visiting, we went back to the hotel and “chilled” (as in watched tv)in the room. Since we went right before covid-19 quarantine, we decided to leave one day early so we could go back home instead of being stranded in Las Vegas.

We packed and got ready for the next day and the long hours of waiting.

March 18…day 3

We left the resort around 3 in the morning and got ready to return our rental car and start waiting for our flight to board. I was so tired I can hardly remember what actually happened but my pictures carry the memories of a life time.

If you’ve made it here and enjoyed this post, please like this post if you want more interesting “experiences” and have a wonderful day.

My Experience In Las Vegas: Part 1

Hello! Welcome back to the blog. I hope you are doing well and enjoying life. Since I haven’t been able to travel recently, I decided I would post about my most recent experience in Las Vegas. I had a lot of fun and can’t wait to share with you what I did in Las Vegas so without further adieu, let’s get started.

Before you ask, I did not participate in any activities that were 18+ (just wanted to make that clear)

On March 15, 2020 we (as in my family and I) made our way to Las Vegas, Nevada. We flew from 10:00 P.M. to the McCarran International Airport and made it to our destination at around 2:00 A.M. as always it takes such a long time to get the rental car and make it to your hotel or resort type thing ,but around 4:00 A.M. we could finally go to sleep after a long day of packing and waiting.

March 16…Day 1 (technically day 2)

On March 16, we did quite a lot of sightseeing and it was more of a relaxing day. We let ourselves sleep in (a sleep in day for us is like 7:00) and take it easy. We started the day off by touring the Las Vegas Strip and seeing all the cool structures and things we don’t have here back home.

I don’t have any great quality pictures from the Las Vegas Strip so please enjoy these palm trees.

After quite awhile of driving around and seeing Las Vegas, we decided to tour around to the Seven Magic Mountains which are colorful stacked boulders just located 10 miles south of Las Vegas. I really wanted to see these massive colorful rocks so I was so excited when we arrived.

A little plant near the giant structures

These are some of the pictures I took while I was visiting there. I really enjoyed visiting these structures. It was really fun and plus on the way there I snuck in a quick nap ๐Ÿ™‚

After we were there, we decided to also visit Hoover Dam which was pretty cool. I honestly didn’t know what Hoover Dam was but I was just excited anyway, it was probably the adrenaline ๐Ÿ™‚

After Hoover Dam, we walked around the mall and enjoyed seeing the comparison between this mall and our mall back home. It had a little river which you could pay to ride in a canoe-type thing, I thought it was kind of cool since I had never seen that in a mall before.

The last thing we did was eat dinner. I believe we ate Indian food which was ok. The food wasn’t spectacular but it was good. I also got a smoothie from Jamba Juice which was kind of expensive but it definitely quenched my cravings.

Well, if you have made it this far please like this post if you enjoyed it and stay tuned to find out what happened in part 2 of my experience in Las Vegas. Have a wonderful rest of your day and see you in the next post.

My experience in England

Hello friends! welcome back to another travel-themed post. In the last post I did (which was all about my experience in Paris) it was so much fun I decided to do a post about my experience in London,England but before I start if you’re new don’t forget to hit the follow button so every time I post you will get a notification sent straight to your inbox. So let’s get started shall we?

We were on our way to the airport on May 26,2019. We got through our first flight(which was only two-ish hours) and were waiting at the next airport for our 8 hour flight to the London Heathrow airport (I’m not really sure what the real name of it is) anyway we had about a very long layover due to a storm which made us almost have to leave the next morning but luckily we were able to go that night and we also got bumped up to business class which was so nice I didn’t want to fly in coach for the rest of our flights๐Ÿ˜‚

I made the mistake of not sleeping during the flight so when we landed I was extremely tired I was falling asleep standing in line. I also had quite the experience, while I was standing in line my parents went through the customs while I got stuck behind them because the security person thought I was older than I actually was and put me in the wrong lane so I couldn’t get into customs. While my parents were freaking out some guy said follow me so I of course followed that guy because if I’m being completely honest I was so tired and it was about two something in the morning when we landed so I had no clue what I was doing. After an hour of waiting and making sure we had everything we made it to our airport which is the Hilton Garden Hotel. It was pretty much a standard hotel room but you could hear the airplanes take off which was cool in the day but not at night.

The first stop was the Buckingham Palace which was kind of cool seeing the Queen’s house. I don’t have too much to say about it and sorry I did not have too many pictures of the palace but of course I wanted a souvenir to remember it so after we visited the palace we went shopping like a true tourist๐Ÿ˜‚

Isn’t it cute lol?

The second stop was to visit a Lauduree store which was so much fun and tiring. We had walked a distance and traveled a lot that day but we of course still made it and still managed to get our hands on some macarons.

The next stop in London was the Tower of London how iconic is that place? It was pretty cool seeing that and there was that bird that distracted me from looking at the bridge. I of course took a picture of that bird which we’ll call him Bob because he sorta looks like a Bob๐Ÿ˜‚

The last place we visited was Stonehenge which was probably one of my favorite places. I was mostly focused on watching all the fluffy sheep in the pastures or valley, I’m not really sure but it was grassy. The rocks were very big and it was just a very enjoyable time in Stonehenge. If you get a chance to go to England I would definitely recommend unless you don’t really like things like this.

I of course did get a souvenir because how couldn’t I? Can you guess what I got without reading the bottom of the picture?

Yep, you saw that correct I did get a sheep even though it is for like two year olds I thought it was adorable and it’s name is Sheepy how original๐Ÿ˜‚

Well that is all I’m going to share today on my experience in England, hope you enjoyed and stay tuned for more travel posts.
