Good morning everyone! I hope you all are doing well and having a great day so far. For this week’s post, I decided to share inexpensive ways to spruce up your bathroom. My bathroom has recently been spruced up so I thought it would be a great opportunity to share some tips that will hopefully help you spruce up your bathroom. Grab your favorite snack or beverage and let’s get started.
I know how hard it is to spruce up your bathroom on a budget. You always have such great finds but you check out the price and your like “no thanks”. Hopefully some of these tips below can help you spruce up your bathroom or give you some inspiration.
1. Clean Your Bathroom
Cleaning your bathroom may sound like a joke but when you clean your bathroom you can see the beauty of it. If you want to take it a step further you can use dollar store bins to organize your toiletries. For me, it makes all the difference to walk into a clean organized bathroom.
2. Upgrade the Lighting
Many of us depend on the bathroom lighting to get ready every morning which is why if you have dull lights it might be time to change them. According to costowl.com, “For new bathroom lights, expect to pay anywhere from $30 to $40 for a single sconce to $400 to $500 or more for a multi-light fixture (although $50 to $200per light is a more reasonable estimate). Customized fixtures made from gold and other high-end materials could cost $1,000+” Depending on what kind of lights you get it could be very inexpensive.
3. Change the Decor
Changing the decor can be a very inexpensive option and can give your bathroom a whole new look and feel. I personally like to shop for decor at places like Tj Maxx or Michael’s but you can pretty much find decor anywhere.
4. Make the Shower Bigger Using a Curved Curtain Rod
This is one of the tips I actually used myself. If you have a relatively small shower like me then using a curved curtain rod can help make your shower feel bigger and give you a little more space. You can also get curved curtain rods for as low as $13 which is awesome.
5. Fill Your Bathroom With Plants
If you have a super plain bathroom then plants are the way to go. Plants give Je ne sais quoi which is like the sprinkles to your cupcake. They make it seem not as plain or boring. I got my plants for $3-$7 from Michael’s but you can also get them from the dollar general if you can’t find them anywhere else.
Thank you all so much for reading! I hope to see you in the next post.
Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving break. I know I did 🙂 I was at school just thinking about what to blog about and it suddenly hit me. I thought about our white elephant gift exchange (which is cancelled this year) and realized to post about my last minute gift ideas so that is what I am posting about today. Let’s get started on with the post.
PLEASE NOTE: NOT ALL OF THESE GIFTS ARE SUITABLE FOR EVERYONE AND THESE PICTURES ARE NOT MINE
I don’t know about you but I haven’t been in a situation(well…at least remember a situation)where I needed to get someone a gift ASAP mainly because I buy gifts so early but I hope these ideas will be able to help you.
I think blankets are a wonderful gift to whoever you are gifting it to. Blankets are always necessary unless you live in a very warm place but other than that blankets have such soft fabric and they come in such cute patterns and colors.
2. Gift Cards
Gift cards are also a great option to gift to someone but visa gift cards are probably one of the best gift cards to gift to someone you don’t really know or aren’t sure about what they want because they can pretty much buy whatever they want with a visa gift card.
3. Cute Coasters
Coasters are also a great addition to hosting family gatherings and other events and if you want to go the extra mile; personalized coasters are the icing to the cake.
4.Hot chocolate set
Hot chocolate sets are a great gift for anyone. Whether it’s store bought or DIY ed (is that even a word?) I’m sure anyone would love a cute little hot chocolate set.
If you’ve made it to the end of this post don’t forget to like this post if you enjoyed it and stay tuned for more surprises in store. Hope to see you all in the next post.

Hello! Wow! It has been quite awhile since I have posted on here but I am back with you guys with another post. Since I have been redecorating my room and making it more minimalistic I decided to share with you guys some tips to save money on room decor and who doesn’t like saving money?
So we all know room decor can be very expensive and if you’re like me you don’t have a lot of money to invest. Here are my tips I like to use.
1. Craft stores:You’re probably wondering why in the world but stores like Michael’s and Hobby Lobby have a lot of room decor if you think about it. Many of those stores have DIY supplies to make your own decor or some of those stores actually have decorative throw pillows, fake plants, and other items. Pro tip: Look up coupons on the store’s website to save even more money.
2. Change the appearance: Maybe you have a dresser that doesn’t really match your room. Instead of buying a whole new dresser, you can give it a whole new look by just using some leftover paint you have laying around.
3. Stick to a budget: Obviously sticking to a budget could be hard but it could save you in the long run. If you establish a budget you will less likely to buy something over your price range.
4. Evaluate what you already have: Before you buy room decor, you should look to see what you have first to save more money. Say you already had a plant and then went shopping and saw another plant to buy because you didn’t think you had a plant. Then you bought a plant you didn’t really need.
5.Have fun: There’s no need to stress out over decorating your room. Decorate it to your liking and enjoy watching your room transform little by little.
Well I hope you enjoyed reading this post and if you want more like this don’t forget to hit that follow button so you don’t miss out on any more posts. I hope you have a wonderful day and I’ll see y’all in the next one.
